There are four main biomes in Russia. The first biome is the Tundra. The animals in the tundra are grasshoppers, moose, snowy owl, reindeer, and the siberian tiger. There are also polar bears, seals, walruses, wolfs, birds, ox, and many different kinds of insects. The plants in the tundra are herbs, wild crocus, arctic poppies, moss, small shrubs, willows, grass, colored flowers, wildflowers, and dwarf trees. Another biome is the Taiga. The Taiga's animals are bears wolves, muskrats, earthworms, caribo, scorpions. The Taiga's plants are spruce trees, pines, other trees, moss, grass, and shrubs. Another biome is Steppe. The plants in the Steppe are most all grasses. The different types of grasses are purple needle, wild oats, fox tails, rye, and buffalo. The animals in the Steppe are antelope, foxes, different types of birds, and squirrels. There are also porcupines, leopards, hyenas, jackals, bears, horses, and falcons. The last biome is Russia is called Mixed Forests. Mixed forest's animals are scorpions, rabbits, brown and black bears, porcupines, raccoons, foxes, red foxes, and muskrats. Some of the Mixed Forest's plants aspen, birch, elm, and ash tree.
